SAN ANTONIO - Police need your help to find the suspects who gunned down a 66-year-old man in an ambush-style attack last year.
The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. on Apr. 8, 2022 at a home off Belmont near E. Commerce Street.
Police said Clarence Jones and a woman were parked in the driveway when three vehicles stopped in the roadway. Then, about 10 people got out of the vehicles and opened fire on Jones' vehicle. Investigators say around 300 rounds were fired at the car.
The suspects got back in their vehicles and drove off.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The 52-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition with several gunshot wounds. Another victim - an 18-year-old boy - showed up a local hospital with a gunshot wound in the hip.
